Casey joined Seattle Litigation Group, PLLC, with twenty-three years of litigation experience and has argued her clients’ positions in several bench and jury trials; bankruptcy hearings and adversary proceedings; appellate briefs and oral arguments; and administrative proceedings. She holds an “AV Preeminent” rating by Martindale-Hubbell and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) insurance designation.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Portland State University, Casey received her Juris Doctorate from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College where she was selected as a Cornelius Honor Society Member and a Business Roundtable Scholar. She was also instrumental in getting funding and a campus office for one of the first animal rights law journals in the United States, Animal Law, and served as its Managing Editor. After law school, Casey clerked for the Honorable Stephen S. Trott, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Casey has made Washington her home and loves everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She is an avid skier and kayaker, and she loves to walk with her Standard Poodle anywhere the trail takes them.
